Methods of Myocardial Infarction diagnosis :- When a patient is subject to Heart attack immediate treatment is required. To unblock the arteries that supply blood to the heart, a minimally invasive procedure called Angioplasty can be used. In this procedure Cardiologists inserts a long thin tube called as catheter through your artery to reach the blockage sites. A small balloon is attached to the catheter which is inflated to reopen the blocked artery in order to regulate the blood flow rate. Doctor may also insert mesh tube called as stent at this blockage site to prevent artery from closing again. In some cases doctor may perform CABG immediately after a Heart attack. In CABG procedure surgeon re-routes veins & arteries so that blood can flow around the blockage. In most of the cases it is done in few days after Heart attack so that your heart has sufficient time to heal.
